What is ClinixCal?
ClinixCal is a free collection of clinical calculators, drug-dosing tools, and vaccination schedulers built for point-of-care use — at a hospital bedside, a factory occupational health centre, or a primary care desk.
The tools here didn't start as a product — they started as a personal need. Between pre-placement exams, periodic medical checks, shift-floor emergencies, and workforce wellness programs, the same handful of calculations come up constantly: BMI, eGFR, CURB-65, spirometry interpretation, IV drip rates. Doing them by hand, or hunting through a dozen different apps and PDFs, wastes time that's better spent with the patient in front of you.
Every calculation runs locally in your browser — nothing you enter is transmitted or stored anywhere.
Who am I?
Dr. D. R. Solanki
ClinixCal is built and maintained by a practising Factory Medical Officer (FMO) — an MBBS-qualified physician holding a CIH (Certificate in Industrial Health), working day-to-day inside an Occupational Health Centre (OHC) in a factory setting.
Every tool here is shaped by what's actually needed at the bedside and in occupational health practice — not by what looks impressive in a demo. I also run DoctorsDuty.com, a companion site for doctors on professional duties, documentation, and medico-legal practice.
How many tools?
127 tools and counting, organised into four categories:
New tools are added as real clinical need comes up — suggest one if there's something missing.
