Your calculator data — never collected
This is the part that matters most: every calculator on ClinixCal runs entirely in your browser. Weights, ages, lab values, vitals, dates, and every other value you type into a calculator field — none of it is sent to any server, stored in a database, or logged anywhere by us. The computation happens locally on your device using JavaScript; closing the tab clears it completely. This applies to all 190+ tools on the site without exception.
Site usage analytics
ClinixCal uses Google Analytics (GA4) to understand aggregate site usage — which pages are visited, approximate geographic region, device/browser type, and how visitors found the site. This is standard web-traffic analytics, entirely separate from the calculators themselves: Google Analytics never sees, and has no way of seeing, anything you type into a calculator field. It only sees which page you're on, not what you do on it. Google's own handling of this data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
Cookies
Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish visitors and sessions. You can block or delete these at any time through your browser's cookie/privacy settings, a browser extension such as the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or by enabling "Do Not Track"/similar privacy settings — none of this affects any calculator's ability to function, since the calculators don't depend on cookies at all.
No accounts, no login
ClinixCal doesn't require or offer account creation. There's nothing to sign up for and nothing tied to your identity.
Other third-party services
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which processes standard web-server logs (IP address, request timing) as part of delivering the pages to your browser — this is normal for any website and is governed by Cloudflare's privacy policy. The site's source is maintained on GitHub; that repository does not receive any data from your use of the live site.
Advertising and Third-Party Cookies
This website uses third-party advertising companies, including Google, to serve ads when you visit our website. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to our users based on their visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.
You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. Alternatively, you can opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalised advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info.
Children's privacy
ClinixCal is a professional clinical reference tool intended for use by qualified healthcare professionals, not children. We do not knowingly collect any information from children, and no calculator asks for or stores personal information about any patient, adult or child.
Your choices
You can use every calculator on this site with analytics blocked, cookies disabled, or JavaScript's network requests intercepted by a browser extension — functionality is unaffected either way, since nothing about how a calculator works depends on analytics running. If you'd like more detail on Google Analytics data retention or deletion, Google documents this directly in their privacy policy.
Changes to this policy
If our data practices change — for example, if we add a new third-party service — this page will be updated and the date at the top revised accordingly.
