Last updated: 14 August 2026

ClinixCal is a clinical decision-support reference tool intended for use by qualified healthcare professionals. It is not a substitute for professional medical judgement, diagnosis, or treatment.

Verify independently

Every calculator on this site is built from published clinical reference equations and guideline thresholds (WHO, BTS, RCP, ADA, CKD-EPI, ARDSNet, and similar consensus sources). Formulas, cutoffs, and guidelines are updated periodically by their issuing bodies. Always cross-check results against current local protocols and your own clinical judgement before acting on them.

Not for patient self-diagnosis

These tools are designed for use by trained clinicians who can interpret results in the context of a full clinical picture. They are not intended for patients or the general public to self-diagnose or self-treat any condition.

Screening-level equations

Some calculators (for example, spirometry predicted values) use simplified reference equations suitable for screening only. For diagnostic-grade interpretation, calibrate against your local or ATS/ERS-standard predicted value sets.

Guidelines vary by region

Clinical thresholds and dosing conventions are not identical worldwide. Where a tool reflects a specific body's guidance (e.g. WHO, NCDC/UIP for Indian immunisation, ADA, BTS, ACOG), that source is cited on the tool's own page — but your local institutional protocol, national guideline, or drug label may differ, and should take precedence where they conflict.

Not for emergencies

ClinixCal is a reference tool for use alongside clinical judgement — it is not an emergency service and has no way of alerting anyone or responding to a real-time crisis. In a medical emergency, contact your local emergency number or go directly to the nearest emergency department; do not wait on or rely on this website.

Software and calculation limitations

Like any software, these calculators can contain bugs, rounding artefacts, or edge-case errors despite ongoing review and testing. A plausible-looking result is not a guarantee of correctness — sense-check every output against your own clinical knowledge before acting on it, and please report anything that looks wrong (see below).

External links

Some pages link to external sources — guideline documents, references, or other websites (including DoctorsDuty.com). ClinixCal does not control and is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of external sites once you leave clinixcal.com.

No doctor-patient relationship

Using ClinixCal does not create a doctor-patient relationship, a consultation, or any form of medical advice between you and the site's author. It is a published reference resource, not individualised clinical care.

No liability

ClinixCal, its author, and any contributors accept no liability for outcomes arising from use of these tools. Use is entirely at the discretion and professional responsibility of the clinician.

Changes to this disclaimer

This disclaimer may be updated as tools, guidelines, or the site itself change. The version in effect is always the one published at this URL at the time of use.
